5:50 pm - Rare sketch edition prints for sale...

I am selling some sketch edition prints; these special prints don't become available very often (only at exhibitions and the occassional tattoo event) as I tend not to have the time to produce them, so this is a great way to get your hands on one without waiting!
On offer are six A3 (29.7cm x 42cm) giclée prints on canvas grain paper and come complete with a hand drawn sketch by me. Price per print is £80 which includes P&P within the UK (outside the UK will be an extra £2). These come unframed (because in my experience glass frames rarely make it to their destination without being damaged) and will be posted in an art tube.

First I'm offering 3 prints of the sketch edition 'Belle' in the highly limited variant 'Rockabilly Tattooed Belle' sporting cherry blossom tattoos (a sketch edition of this print that I donated to a charity auction event went for £400 last week!). She is from a run of 50, only a handful of which will be sketch editions:
I'm also selling 3 sketch edition Kreeper Kate prints which feature a little kitty skull in the bottom right corner. I haven't got her up on my website yet, so this is a quick way of getting your hands on her. There will only be ten kitty skull sketch prints of these made:
Please note: the sketches may vary slightly from those shown as they are hand drawn. Colours will remain similar, however.
Payment is preferred via Paypal, and these will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. It's best to leave a comment here if you are interested.

The ‘Ooh La La’ exhibition here in Nottingham that I am taking part in is now in full swing and runs until Monday 26th March!
I am exhibiting prints (a couple of rare ones as well as the larger run prints) and also some never-seen-before paintings.
If you are in the area do come and have a look. All my work is available to buy and it’s a rare opportunity to purchase some of my paintings.

We are now offering gift vouchers for those people who want to give prints as presents, but want to leave it up to the recipient to choose the character for themselves.
For Chistmas the gift voucher/s will come in a tall Christmas card of your choice (either Femme Rouge, Tara, Celeste or Lili) and with a 'Black Mail' black envelope.

Sadly we won't be holding a rachaelhuntington.com stall this time around at the Whitby Gothic Weekend.
We are, however, running a special offer where any order placed before the end of October will receive a free greeting card.
Hopefully we'll be back with a stall at WGW next April.

I've started a 'name the new character' competition, because I'm struggling to find a suitable name for her, and the prize is a signed and personalised print of the illustration.
You don't have long to participate though because she'll need to be ready to go to Whitby after midday tomorrow!

It's been a while since I posted here, mainly because I haven't had an awful lot of time to sit down and generate any artwork for a few months, but all that is set to change now. I should be posting new images and work in progress peeks soon (although these will be under friends only posts, so please add me if you wish to see them).
I'm also on the verge of publishing the new website (still at www.rachaelhuntington.com) which among other new features will include a forum, online shop and all the newest character work that have not yet been added to the existing site.
I will also take this opportunity to announce I will be back on the market to accept a few commissions. E-mail me if you have any interest in taking the opportunity to have a custom illustration created.
Once the new site is up I will post an update on here to let you know :)

All of the prints have been sold now. Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed to the fund by buying one and to those who spread the message that this appeal was taking place :)
Now I need to start the task of organsing and posting out so many prints! Haha. The prints that have been paid for will go out by the end of the week, and all prints after that will be sent when payment has been made.
I'm staggered by the huge response. I figured I might sell about half of what was on offer, but to sell out so soon is just amazing.

I have just finished a new fairy character and she is now about to play an important role in my fund raising project for the Tsunami disaster appeal. I wanted to do something constructive, other than just give some money to it myself, so I have created a VERY limited edition version of her for this purpose.
